Menu for 2010

     Starters

Oven roasted red pepper soup with parmesan and herb croutons
Warm asparagus, feta cheese garlic crouts with pesto dressing
Pan fried chorizo and squid served on herb Cous cous
Pan glazed scallops wrapped in bacon served with balsamic honey and mustard dressing
Smooth chicken liver parfait accompanied with plum and apple chutney and warm toast.

Main Courses

Roasted butternut and goats cheese tart garnished with a herb green salad.
Chicken breast served on Savoy cabbage and bacon  and thyme gravy
Cod fillet coated with a herb crust creamed potatoes and French beans
Pan fried Sea Bass with crushed potatoes drizzled with tomato and lemon dressing.
Darn of salmon with leek puree crispy potatoes 

Desserts
Rich chocolate fondant served with cherry compote and vanilla ice cream
Lemon meringue pie served with clotted cream
Pear and almond tart served with Cream Anglaise
Raspberry trifle
Local cheeses served with chutney and biscuits
Apple crumble served with Cream Anglaise

Menu guide price - 3 courses £35 and 2 courses £30. There is a seasonal variation in the price of local produce
